Soft Color Toning In Photoshop

About this week’s episode:

At first we will start with adding a dodge & burn layer, in order to give the overall image a nice pop. Then we will merge all layers, create a new one and take it into a photoshop plugin called – Nik Software. We’re going to apply a very subtle glamour glow effect to the skin only. Back in photoshop then we will add a mask and only brush out the wanted areas. (Leaving the unwanted hidden)

After this process we will apply a faded black effect with a new curve adjustment layer in photoshop. In order to fade out the dark / black shadow areas. This will result in a more dull image effect, you might also want to double this effect for a stronger faded result!

In our final step we’re going to apply a new color gradient layer and set it’s blending options to color blend. Once all is done we’re going to do some fine adjustments and set the overall layer opacity. We’re also going to combine all layers to sorted groups in the photoshop layers pallet.
