Basics & Tools In Photoshop – Part 10

About this week’s episode:

In this final tutorial for the Photoshop Basics series, I’ll demonstrate how to use the Colour Setter and – the tool which I consider to be the most important- how to use the Masking tool. I will select my brush and roughly paint on my original layer, change my foreground colours through the Colour Setter and continue painting with a new foreground colour. (To switch your foreground colours use the keyboard shortcut “x”) Once we are done with that, I’ll show you how to use the Masking tool with a few easy steps. (Keyboard shortcut “q”)

Please note: When working with the masking tool, white foreground color will mask in and black foreground color will mask out. (Keyboard shortcut for that will be “x”)
